"Sunrise and sunset are moments charged with intensity and fascination: an ever-changing flux of light, oscillating in intensity and colour. Light&Shade immortalises that precise moment of the day when the clear sky is reflected in a calm sea. Available in copper, brass and steel these large wall lamps -Ø 60x7.5 cm- conceal the light source which is softly radiated by the circumference to create an ambient light and at the same time serve as a decorative element.
Light&Shade is made from a hammered metal sheet with a DeSaten finish overlaid with a a smooth sheet of the same material, but with a different finish. The two sheets are slightly spaced to accommodate the LED light source."
