Make it so light that even just some wind can shape its essence.
From this feeling of lightness comes Soffio, a new architectural system composed of a paneling whose geometry was created to transfer a feeling of softness and infinite continuity.

Just as the surface of the sea is gently rippled by a breath of wind, that of Soffio is formed through a succession of small waves that, through their crests, give an infinite and delicate rhythmicity to the spaces in which this paneling is placed.

The wood is thus worked into surfaces that manage to amaze with their delicacy and returns, to those who live in them, a great sense of comfort and welcome.

Architecture with a distinctive flavour that can last over time and accompany those who experience it on a journey that never tires.

Thus was born the search for the Dorian boiserie, a search for a distinctive feature that could be appreciated over time. Simplicity, sobriety and refinement. But with character.

This sign continues its evolution by embodying new compositional schemes that can dress different types of architecture. The line thins out, stopping at new balances that leave smooth spaces that defuse the eye.

This decoration can be used on its own, or in combination with upper and/or lower bands that, placed on a different level, emphasise its distinctiveness.

Dorian L is also not ‘just’ a boiserie: its possible uses are many and can ‘dress up’ different needs related to architectural design.

One example is the possibility of concealing a TV set by means of motorised mechanisms, or of including elements that, in perfect equilibrium with the layout of the space, fit into its geometries, creating a refined and balanced play of volumes.

Enriching architecture with signs and meanings that remain over time implies searching for a taste for decoration that can cross the years unscathed, retaining its charm and beauty, to re-propose itself every day as if it were its first.

Thus was born the search for the taste that Dorian boiserie should have. A search that landed in the definition of a clean, rigorous sign, but at the same time soft in its simplicity. A sign that stems from sensations and memories of the past and, brought up to date in the present, can provide comfort and beauty for the future.
